When renting a property through Galvin 2 Let, the following items will be required:

  • An employer’s reference
  • A previous landlord reference, if possible
  • A current bank reference / statement
  • If self-employed, a professional reference- i.e. from an accountant or solicitor
  • A guarantor may be required in some cases
  • A copy of photographic I.D

Once your references have been checked out and approved by the property owner, we will require the following:

  • Payment of one month’s rent in advance
  • Payment of a security deposit- usually equivalent of one month’s rent .
 
All lettings are subject to the prospective tenant providing satisfactory references. You will be asked to sign a letting agreement. When the rent exceeds €19,000 per year the tenant is due to pay stamp duty of 1% of the annual rent, plus a stamping charge of €12.50
